This Sunday"s Worship Theme May 18, 2008 "Some Things Are Sacred" Ephesians 5:32 God"s gifts are sacred. They come to us on purpose. To accept them is to embrace God"s purposes. In today"s secular culture, Christians must get a grip on what is sacred—things like human life, marriage, love, truth, beauty and perhaps the greatest gift God gives to us: Forgiveness! _____________________________________ Last Sunday"s Worship Theme May 11, 2008 "To Uppa Moon" Romans 8:35-39 Steve Dewall preached the mother of all sermons on Mother"s Day! His title (see above) is a quote from his young daughter describing how much she loves her daddy. Steve illustrated the inseparable love that God has for us (see Romans 8:35-39) with that of a mother who has bonded with her baby. That's a lot of love. _____________________________________ Next Sunday"s Worship Theme May 25, 2008 "Times of Refreshing!" Acts 3:17-21 This message will kick off a new spring sermon series on repentance; where the road to heaven begins. We cannot be godly without repentance. And it is more than just feeling sorry for past sins. Biblical repentance also has a refreshing future dimension to it which we plan to explore with excitement over the next two months.
