Jesus’ church was born on the first Pentecost after He rose from the grave. 3,000 were baptized on that day! God’s people were deeply devoted to ministry and “everyone was filled with awe!” Let’s embrace that spirit at Northern Light.

Last Sunday, we learned that being spiritual means being called and “set apart” for a mission and being devoted to that mission. God is the one who calls us and our spirituality is His work in us. Trust Him; He will do it!

We will begin a new sermon series titled; “Jesus Christ, Yesterday, Today and Forever!” Jesus is in the Old Testament, the gospels, the apostle’s letters, and in the faith, hope and love of Christians through the ages. In an ever changing world, He is our anchor and our shining light forever.

Ezekiel 1:22-28 - The description of the seeing God in the appearance of a MAN, and the heavenly setting is similar to Exodus 24:9-10, Revelation 1:13, and 4:1-11. The majesty and glory of God is described to us. Then remember Philippians 2:1-11. The God described in Ezekiel came in the most personal way and more than anyone could ever imagine visiting His creation. If we ever doubt our relationship with God, or that we will get bodies that will exist for eternity, remember JESUS. The FIRST fruit of what we should be looking forward to being like.

Mission History in Cameroon
Richard Inyang began doing mission work in the South and South-Eastern part of Nigeria, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. As you may all know that the Church of Christ (COC) is unique in that it does not have an earthly headquarters or an overseeing board. In December 5th 1999, Richard received an official invitation from Bro. Martins and the small congregation he established in Bamenda (North West Province of Cameroon).Lifeline of Hope
